WCPE News
Dear Friend of Great Classical Music,
Before I ask You to Reaffirm Your Commitment to WCPE, I wish to Reaffirm Our Commitment to Great Classical Music!
We are fully committed to providing you with quality classical music 24 hours a day! WCPE Radio has broadcast classical music since our first day on the air just about a third of a century ago. Because of your commitment to supporting Great Classical Music, we have done our best to remain consistent; on-the-air and on-line all the time because of your faith in us.
When you listen to Great Classical Music on WCPE, you are listening with a true community of friends who share your commonality of the appreciation of Great Classical Music. Regardless of where you live, we are neighbors; we all enjoy WCPE together, and we are all very dedicated:
Paul in Cary, NC said: "Happy Birthday WCPE! When my family and I arrived in Cary in 1970, we missed the classical music of WQXR immediately. The drought continued until 1978, when a friend told us of your station. From then till now we have been listeners to, and Supporters of, WCPE. Enclosed is my gift."
WCPE is Unique and Special -- and so is Your Individual Support!

"I have listened to your station for several years over the Internet and have always felt guilty about not contributing to your campaign. I would like to remind all those who are out there listening for free, that you get what you pay for. Now is the time for those who have always thought about contributing to make a donation. We would all be lost without your great classical music!" Craig in Richland, Washington
If you listen on a partner FM station, remember that WCPE covers all of the costs to deliver our signal to your local station. Remember, too, that WCPE is a "guest" of your local station. Our music is there because your hometown station cares enough to bring you our Great Classical Music. Right now, show the management of your local station that you appreciate hearing WCPE. Help both stations -- but if you have to split your gift to WCPE in half to do that -- then sharing with both station is the proper thing to do!
Cindy listens to us on a Partner Station public radio station: "I started to listen to your station in 2007. I listen just about every night and I enjoy what you play very much! I live in Lexington, Oklahoma, a small town south of Norman. I get your station from the university radio station. Keep up the great music!"
So Decide To Act Now While You're Thinking About This!
WCPE's Great Classical Music is here for you whenever you desire to listen. I hope you'll agree that WCPE and Great Classical Music are worthy of your generous support. I hope you'll decide to be here for WCPE now by giving your support to show how much you really care!
As always, your gift counts towards the Thank You Gifts in the flyer, or you can feel free to give us a call about any gift you hear about during the drive.
Please take a moment right now to grab your checkbook or your computer keyboard and make your Silent Pledge while you're thinking about it. You'll have the satisfaction of knowing the music you hear each day is here because of your commitment to WCPE's continuation.
Thank You!

Patricia in Ilion, NY: "We are a small elementary school in Central New York and we play your radio station every day. Everyone who comes into the library comments on how peaceful it is and how lovely the music is. We are sending a small contribution and a lot of gratitude for your effort. Please keep up the good work!".
